Anil Singhal - Founder, President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board

Anil Singhal  
Anil K. Singhal co-founded NetScout in June of 1984, and is serving today as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Singhal has provided technical leadership for the company since its inception and is credited with numerous innovations in the field of network traffic monitoring and analysis. Under his direction the company has grown to be the market leader at over $250M in revenues in fiscal 2008, after acquiring its chief competitor Network General. In his current role Mr. Singhal is providing strategic leadership and vision, as well as setting operational priorities for the company’s management team. Mr. Singhal holds a BSEE from BITS, Pilani, India and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Michael Szabados - Chief Operating Officer

Michael Szabados  

Michael Szabados has served as Chief Operating Officer of NetScout Systems (NASDAQ: NTCT) since April 2007, with responsibility for day-to-day operations of the company. During Michael’s tenure NetScout’s revenues grew from $106M in Fiscal 2007 to close to $400M in fiscal 2014. In the same time period NetScout acquired and integrated six companies and achieved market share leadership in Network Management according to IDC. Prior to that, Mr. Szabados served as senior vice president, product operations for over five years, with responsibility for product development, manufacturing, customer support, human resources and marketing. A veteran of the enterprise networking industry, Mr. Szabados held product and marketing management positions at a number of industry leaders, and has developed a close working relationship with many of the world's leading IT and service provider organizations. Prior to NetScout Mr. Szabados has held senior leadership roles with companies including UB Networks, SynOptics/Bay Networks and MIPS Corporation. Mr. Szabados started his career in engineering and product management at Intel Corporation and later at Apple. Mr. Szabados holds a BSEE from UC Irvine and an MBA from UC Santa Clara.


Jean Bua - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jean A. Bua has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 2013 and served as our Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from December 2011 until May 2013. Ms. Bua served as Executive Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at American Tower Corp. During her tenure there, she also held positions as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice-President, Finance. She joined American Tower Corporation from Iron Mountain, Inc., where she served as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Previously, she held senior positions at Duracraft Corp. and Keithley Instruments. She was a management consultant at Ernst & Young and an auditor at KPMG. Ms. Bua earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude from Bryant College and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.


Ken Boyd - Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President, Services

Ken Boyd is CIO for NetScout and is responsible for Worldwide Customer / Technical Support. He has over 28 years of experience in Information Technology. Prior to the acquisition of Network General by NetScout, Mr. Boyd was responsible for Information Technology, R&D and Product Operations. Prior to joining Network General, Mr. Boyd served as a senior executive at Remedy over a period of 5+ years, where he held various key roles, including CIO, Vice President of Product Operations and Vice President, Product Management/Product Marketing. Prior to joining Remedy, Mr. Boyd held numerous senior roles at Adobe Systems where he was strategic in architecting client server solutions and evolving Adobe's intranet with Web and Adobe technologies. Previously, Boyd held roles of CIO at Read-Rite Corporation and Group Information Technology Director for Unisys Corporation, supporting a $2 billion business unit.


John Downing - Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations

John Downing has served as NetScout’s Vice President, Sales Operations since September 2000, when he joined the Corporation. Prior to joining NetScout, he was Vice President of Sales at Genrad Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic testing equipment and production solutions, from April 1998 until September 2000 and was Vice President of North American Sales from January 1996 until March 1998.Mr Downing has a BS in Engineering in Computers Science and Applied Mathematics from Tufts University and a MBA from Suffolk University.



Ashwani Singhal - Senior Vice President, Research & Development

Ashwani Singhal has served as Vice President, Engineering and Product Development since January 2001. Mr. Singhal joined NetScout in 1987 and served as a Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager from 1987 until February 1997, as Director of Engineering from February 1997 until October 1998 and as Vice President, Engineering from October 1998 through December 2000. Prior to joining NetScout, he was a Senior Software Engineer at Symmetrix, an artificial intelligence systems company, from 1982 until 1987. Mr. Singhal is the brother of Anil Singhal, NetScout's President, Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer and Director.


Victor Becker - Vice President, Human Resources

Victor P. Becker is our Vice President of Human Resources and is responsible for all HR and organizational development activities. Mr. Becker brings over 25 years of high technology HR experience to NetScout. Prior to joining NetScout, Mr. Becker was the Vice President, Human Resources at Phase Forward, a software company, from January 2004 to December 2007. Prior to Phase Forward, Mr. Becker was Vice President, Human Resources at Authoria, Inc., a software company, from February 2000 to November 2003. Prior to Authoria, Mr. Becker was Director of Human Resources for Inacom Corporation, a services company, from June 1998 to February 2000. Prior to Inacom, Mr. Becker was Director of Human Resources for ENTEX Information Services, a services company, from October 1989 to June 1998. Prior to ENTEX, Mr. Becker was Human Resources Manager at Data General Corp., a hardware company, from September 1981 to October 1989.


Bruce Kelley, Jr. - Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Bruce Kelley, Jr. co-founded NextPoint Networks, Inc. in November 1996 and served as a Director and as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Since the acquisition of NextPoint by NetScout in July 2000, Mr. Kelley had served as Vice President, Engineering, Service Level Management of NetScout from July 2000 to December 2000. In January 2001, Mr. Kelley assumed the position of NetScout’s Chief Technology Officer. Prior to founding NextPoint, he held various engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1982 to 1996, including Consultant Software Engineer and Network Management Technical Director within Digital’s Network Management Engineering Group.


Jeff Levinson - Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary

Jeff Levinson is Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary responsible for global legal strategy and legal operations at NetScout. Before joining the company in 2005, he served four years as corporate counsel at Nuance. Before that he was General Counsel at an internet startup and a division counsel at a global publishing company. Mr. Levinson holds degrees from Harvard and Boston University School of Law and an MBA from Babson. He is Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel's Law Department Management Committee (Leadership/Strategy/Operations), a Board member of the ACC Northeast Chapter, and a member of the program committee of the National Association of Corporate Directors, New England chapter.


Brian McCann - Vice President and General Manager Packet Flow Switch Business

Brian McCann came to NetScout through the acquisition of ONPATH Technologies in 2012. As CEO of ONPATH, Brian was responsible for the vision, growth strategy, and total leadership of the business, increasing revenues nearly fivefold during his tenure, and dramatically increasing new product investments to further grow the addressable applications for the company’s core technologies. Mr. McCann was the founding President of the US Division of ADVA Optical Networking. He was also the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of the global organization. During his tenure from 1996 to 2008, the North American business grew to over 250 people achieving over $100 million in revenues as global revenues exceeded $350 million. Mr. McCann spent nine years at 3M Corporation, and served on the Board of Directors of Nexxus Lighting. He regularly speaks at technology and entrepreneur conferences. Mr. McCann holds a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering and Fiber Optics Program from Rutgers University in Piscataway, N.J.


Jim McNiel - Vice President, Worldwide Marketing

Jim McNiel joined NetScout in July 2014 to lead worldwide Corporate Marketing activities. He has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry as an entrepreneur, leader and technologist. Mr. McNiel was the President and CEO of publicly traded FalconStor Software, the inventor of Virtual Tape Library and a pioneer in the virtualized storage market. Prior to FalconStor, he was the President and CEO of Fifth Generation Systems. Before this, Mr. McNiel was General Partner at Pequot Capital for nine years where he invested in and served on the boards of: Netegrity, OutlookSoft, NetGear, Asia Online, Bowstreet, and many others. Prior to Pequot, he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Cheyenne Software with responsibilities for business development, OEM sales, Product Management and Investor Relations. During his tenure at Cheyenne, Mr. McNiel was also instrumental in the creation of ARCServe, the world’s first client server backup solution. Cheyenne was acquired by CA for $1.2 billion in 1996. Previous to Cheyenne, he held engineering and senior management roles at Lucasfilm and AST Research. Mr. McNiel is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School of Business.


Tracy Steele - Vice President, Global Technical Support Services

Tracy Steele has served NetScout since November 1995. In his current position, Vice President of Global Technical Support Services, Mr. Steele is responsible for worldwide technical support, training and other business operations at NetScout. Mr. Steele joined NetScout in November 1995 and has held varied positions with increasing responsibilities, starting as Director of Manufacturing in 1995 to Vice President, Manufacturing in 1997 to now. Prior to joining NetScout, he served as Director of Manufacturing for Scope Communications, a developer of hand-held network tools. Mr. Steele also served in various manufacturing and management positions at NBase-Xyplex, Inc., a computer networking company.


Bruce Sweet - Vice President, Corporate Development

Bruce Sweet is the Vice President, Corporate Development and leads our global corporate development activities including mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Sweet came to NetScout in July 2000 through the acquisition of NextPoint Networks, Inc. where he was a co-founder, Director and Vice President of Engineering and Product Development. Since the acquisition Mr. Sweet has served NetScout as Vice President, Engineering, Capacity Management, Vice President, Engineering Services and Customer Satisfaction and as Vice President, Business Development. Prior to founding NextPoint, he was the Director of Network Management with Digital Equipment Corporation’s Network Business Unit. While with Digital Equipment Corporation Mr. Sweet held various engineering positions of increasing responsibility beginning in 1983.
