Board of Directors

Anil Singhal co-founded NETSCOUT in June 1984 and has served as NETSCOUT’s Chief Executive Officer and as a director on the Company’s Board since inception. In January 2007, Mr. Singhal was appointed Chairman of the Board and has been serving as NETSCOUT’s President, CEO, and Chairman.

Michael Szabados was appointed to NETSCOUT’s Board of Directors and named Vice Chairman of the Board in February 2019. He has served as NETSCOUT’s Chief Operating Officer since April 2007, focusing on the implementation and execution of the Company’s vision and strategy.

John R. Egan has been a director of the Corporation since October 2000. Mr. Egan is a founding managing partner of Egan-Managed Capital, a Boston-based venture capital fund specializing in New England.

Robert E. Donahue has been a NETSCOUT director since March 2013. He served on the board of directors of Sycamore Networks, Inc., an intelligent optical networking and multiservice access provider, from July 2007 until October 2014.

Alfred Grasso is the immediate past President and Chief Executive Officer of the MITRE Corporation, a position he held from 2006 to 2017 and where he continues to serve as a Trustee and Consultant for the MITRE Corporation. Joseph G. Hadzima, Jr. has been a director of the Corporation since July 1998. Mr. Hadzima has been a Managing Director of Main Street Partners LLC, a venture capital investing and technology commercialization company, since April 1998.

Shannon K. Nash has been a NETSCOUT director since January 2023. Ms. Nash is an attorney and CPA with over 25 years of experience scaling companies globally through strong financial and operations leadership.

Marlene Pelage has been a NETSCOUT director since January 2023. She joined the Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) in April 2021 as the Global Chief Financial Officer of IPG Mediabrands, a leading media planning agency.

Christopher Perretta was appointed a director of the Corporation in September 2014. Mr. Perretta has served as chief information and operations officer at MUFG Americas Holdings Corporation and its U.S. banking subsidiary, MUFG Union Bank, N.A. since April 2016.

Vivian Vitale was appointed to NETSCOUT’s Board of Directors in February 2019. Ms. Vitale has over 30 years of human resources experience with extensive expertise in leadership development, fostering high performance cultures, scaling organizations for growth and succession planning.
