Enterprises are heading towards the “edge” to dramatically reduce time to value. AWS helps extend Enterprise 5G to the network edge with Wavelength, deployed in the CSP edge datacenter, and Outpost deployed in Enterprise on premises environments. 5G user plane and some of the control plane VNFs can be deployed at the network edge in Wavelength, while other VNFs are deployed in AWS VPCs. CSPs can then use network slicing to deliver streaming video, IoT, AR/VR, gaming and other ultra-reliable low-latency services all the way to the edge and make them available to Enterprises. In this session you will learn how NETSCOUT uses VPC Traffic Mirroring to monitor both the edge 5G VNFs, the multi-access edge computing (MEC) server and other service delivery edge and 5G core elements. The acquired traffic data is then converted it into Smart Data for end-thru-end visibility and service assurance.
