ISO Certifies NETSCOUT’s Security Management Practices
NETSCOUT

Enterprises worldwide face continual threats to the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of customer data and information. Although many companies say they have the proper controls and practices in place to protect their networks, at NETSCOUT, that’s something built into our DNA. It’s also why it’s an honor to receive third-party accreditation from the International Standards Organization (ISO) that reinforces our efforts to be an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified provider.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is a standard for information security management published in October 2013 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

Compliance with this internationally recognized standard confirms that NETSCOUT’s security management program is comprehensive and follows leading practices. Our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification scope includes the product development and technical operations, customer support, and business support functions for NETSCOUT’S Arbor Cloud, visibility as a service (VaaS), security, and service assurance products.

This certification demonstrates NETSCOUT’s continued commitment to information security at every level. It assures our customers that the safety of their data and information has been addressed, protected, and controlled correctly in all areas of our organization.

NETSCOUT received its ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification via A-LIGN, an independent third-party auditor.

“We have been using the ISO 27001 framework for more than a decade, and receiving this certification assures our customers that we have implemented several security measures and countermeasures that protect us from unauthorized access or compromise,” says NETSCOUT Chief Security Officer Deb Briggs. “Plus, our IT personnel were found to be conscientious and knowledgeable in best practices.”
