It captures every transaction, regardless of whether an alarm was triggered or an event was logged. But packet data alone is not enough. It must be curated, correlated, and enriched before AI can reason over it effectively.

What Data Curation Really Means

Data curation is not simple filtering or compression. It is the process of transforming raw packets into structured, contextualized intelligence that preserves relationships across the full subscriber session lifecycle. This includes correlating location, timing, session flow, network domain, key performance indicators (KPIs), and radio conditions into a coherent representation of network behavior.

A curated view creates an operational “ontology” that gives AI systems true situation awareness. Without it, even the most advanced AI agent is effectively operating blindly.

Enabling AI at Scale with Model Context Protocol

Curation alone is not sufficient. AI systems also need a consistent, scalable way to access this intelligence. That is where Model Context Protocol (MCP) plays a critical role. MCP provides a standardized interface between curated network data and AI agents, eliminating the need for custom, brittle integrations.

With MCP in place, AI applications—whether for service assurance, security operations, or third‑party use cases—can query network state in real time using structured, context-rich data. This architecture enables AI to deliver reliable, explainable, and economically viable outcomes.
