RAC (Routing Area Code) is per mobile industry numbering specifications, the Routing Area Code (RAC) is one of two identifiers that define the Routing Area Identity (RAI). A Routing Area consists of one or more cells within a Location Area. The Routing Area Identity is composed of a Location Area Identity (LAI) and a Routing Area Code which identifies a specific routing area within a Location Area. See also LAC (Location Area Code).
