Many enterprises in 2023 saw substantial growth in the number of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) tools in use in their environments. In December 2023, for the third year in a row, NETSCOUT commissioned a survey conducted among 300 IT decision-makers, between January and February 2024, in the United States and Canada, to examine the impact of these platforms on employees enterprise-wide. The report revealed that nearly all the surveyed enterprises experienced at least one major UCaaS incident or outage in 2023, lasting at least a few hours and affecting broad functionality.
