Business Observability using NETSCOUT Service Assurance

Join this hands-on, instructor-led session, where users will gain practical experience navigating and utilizing essential modules in a dedicated lab environment. You'll explore powerful monitoring tools like the Service Monitor, Traffic Monitor, and Universal Monitor, learning how to proactively identify and address network or application issues. The session also introduces the fundamentals of synthetic testing, including deployment, creating site and business-service definitions, and running performance tests at the business edge of your network. Through guided exercises, you'll integrate synthetic testing with analytics, build and trigger Business Transaction Tests (BTTs), and correlate results with packet- and flow-based insights. By the end, you’ll be equipped with the skills to improve visibility, accelerate troubleshooting, and ensure continuous service assurance across your enterprise.

Security Postures – Defending from emerging threats with SL/TMS and AED

Our security session will give you an overview of the security postures available utilizing NetScout’s Arbor product range. An attendee will gain knowledge of the Security Posture options available to your Security Operations Centres. Not just using the TMS and AED to mitigation, but mixing in our ATLAS Intelligence Feed (AIF) and layering in network capabilities for a more complete approach. Finally the session will cover how to apply, in practice, the recommendations of our ASERT briefings to defend against recent emerging threats to the Service Provider and Enterprise infrastructure.

  • Examine the latest trends in DDoS attacks.

  • Once you have registered to attend CONNECTS, the event team will be in touch regarding your accommodation confirmation. NETSCOUT will cover the cost of accommodation for Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 November only.
  • If you need to book accommodation for the night of Wednesday 19 November, post training sessions, the event room rate is VND 4,233,000 plus taxes 10% and 6% service charge. This is a bed and breakfast rate and is the responsibility of the attendee.
  • The link to book accommodation for Wednesday 19th November will be in your registration confirmation email. All reservations should be made through this link.
  • No phone reservations will be accepted.
  • The hotel will require credit card details to confirm the booking. Reservations must be guaranteed with a non-refundable deposit for the entire stay. Rooms will be held until 12 midnight on the day of arrival.
  • If the credit card is found to be invalid, the booking will be cancelled, and the guest will receive a notification directly from the hotel.

Individual reservations cancellation policy applies to WEDNESDAY 19 November, if you have chosen to stay post training.

  • Cancellation policy – Amendment, cancellation and no shows will be subject to an entire stay room charge plus surcharges.
  • Amendments made to stay dates are subject to a rate of adjustment at the time of making the change.

For parking, please download the MY PARKING app – the car park is situated opposite the main entrance of the hotel and is VND 25,000 per hour. Hotel staff will be available to assist if needed.

How do I access NETSCOUT CONNECTS and how much does it cost?

You can pre-register to attend by accessing the registration form on the CONNECTS website. Attendance is free but all travel is to be paid by the attendee.

What do I do if I require accommodation for Wednesday 19th November?

If you require accommodation on Wednesday 19 November, post training, the bed and breakfast rate per night is VND 4,233,000 plus taxes 10% and 6% service charge and needs to be covered by the attendee – the hotel booking link will be in your event registration confirmation email but only if you have opted to attend the training.

CONNECTS kicks off with a Welcome Reception at 18.00hrs on Monday 17 November, the main program begins at 09.30hrs on Tuesday 18 November.

When you arrive at the event, please check-in at the hotel reception (if staying) and then proceed to the event registration area to collect your badge and agenda. Entry to all sessions and meals requires your personalised badge.
