TRN-101-TCL: Network Analysis and Troubleshooting (3 day course)
Network Analysis and Troubleshooting focuses on the tools and techniques used to effectively analyze network communications using the Sniffer® Analyzer application and network management solution. This three-day introductory course provides the training needed by network managers and technicians supporting medium and large enterprise-wide networks.  Participants learn how to analyze, troubleshoot, and understand current networking technologies and apply networking best practices.  Troubleshooting and analysis skills are reinforced through hands-on exercises and an interactive feature called “Try it now!” using condensed exercises to enhance critical skills and concepts.

TRN-102-TCL: Application Performance Analysis and Troubleshooting (2 day course)
Application Performance Analysis and Troubleshooting provides the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to manage applications in large- and medium-size networks. This two-day course is designed to enable network professionals to identify the key factors that affect how applications perform on the network and to apply monitoring and reporting tools that measure performance in real-time.

TRN-171-TCL: Troubleshooting with InfiniStream (2 day course)
Troubleshooting with InfiniStream introduces networking professionals to NetScout's InfiniStream tool, which allows them to troubleshoot data traversing high-speed Gigabit and fast Ethernet networks. This two-day introductory course enables participants to maximize their investment in InfiniStream by teaching them to mine data efficiently and configure the engine to best suit their needs.

TRN-191-TCL: nGenius Performance Management for Users (2-Day)
nGenius Performance Management for Users is a two-day instructor-led training course using nGenius Performance Manager. This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to effectively monitor, analyze, and report on application usage and performance in large enterprise-wide networks. The training will prepare students to apply monitoring and troubleshooting techniques through hands-on exercises and instructor-led challenges. This course is conducted only by NetScout instructors at locations that meet our technical requirements.


TRN-192-TCL: nGenius Performance Manager Operations (3-Day)
This course introduces students to the administration essentials, capabilities, and reporting functions of nGenius Performance Manager v4.x. Through lecture, interactive demonstrations, and practical exercises students are instructed as to the procedures and processes used to proactively assess and monitor network performance using a variety of data sources including nGenius Probes, switches and routers. Students will also verify system configuration settings and solve network problems using a variety of monitoring tools available within nGenius Performance Manager v4.x.


TRN-271-TCL: Advanced Troubleshooting with Sniffer InfiniStream (3 day course)
Advanced Troubleshooting with InfiniStream focuses on the methodology and techniques used to solve challenging network and application problems using the troubleshooting capabilities of the Sniffer InfiniStream™. This three-day advanced level course offers students the opportunity to learn new troubleshooting techniques and gain hands-on experience using the InfiniStream appliance. This course will prepare students to identify and solve very complex problems that commonly affect medium and large enterprise-wide networks. Key concepts are reinforced through hands-on exercises and interactive “Try it now!” labs.

TRN-303-TCL: TCP/IP Analysis and Troubleshooting (5 day course)
This course focuses on the protocols and issues facing network managers and technicians today. The course begins with troubleshooting core protocols of the TCP/IP suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP and UDP) and Internet Access methods (DHCP and NAT/PAT). Moving up the protocol stack, the focus shifts to analysis and troubleshooting of applications and secure protocols (DNS, HTTP, SSL, IPsec, FTP, P2P, SMTP, POP3, IM) using the Sniffer Portable Network Analyzer.

TRN-323-TCL: Microsoft Windows Analysis and Troubleshooting (5 day course)
Microsoft Windows  Network Analysis & Troubleshooting focuses on analyzing the internal operations of Microsoft Windows networks using the Sniffer Portable Network Analyzer. The course covers the latest in Microsoft Windows technology, including discussions on Security, Terminal Services, WINS and Browser, and Optimization.  Knowledge is reinforced with hands-on exercises and follow-along activities.
