By installing the Netcool/OMNIbus Integration Module for NetScout Systems’ nGenius Performance Management Solution, Netcool administrators gain access to the deep application-level monitoring and analysis provided by the NetScout Solution. This IBM-developed Netcool/OMNIbus Integration Module provides:
- The ability to view nGenius Server-based alarms and nGenius Probe-based SNMP traps in the Netcool/OMNIbus EventList with a description and contextual link to the appropriate alarm details in nGenius Performance Manager or nGenius Analytics for streamlined troubleshooting
- Automated de-duplication of events and alarms in Netcool/OMNIbus
- Automated 'Generic Clear' correlation of problem/ resolution events
- Informative and descriptive event presentation in Netcool/OMNIbus
- The ability to launch nGenius Performance Manager or nGenius Analytics from the Netcool/OMNIbus EventList
The Netcool/OMNIbus Integration Module is made available, maintained and supported by IBM. The integration package is available for download from the IBM Tivoli Open Process Automation Library (OPAL) site.
