The NetScout Performance Management Solution integration with HP Network Node Manager (NNM) has been certified by Hewlett Packard in support of HP's Adaptive Enterprise Initiative. Specific integration points include:
- All HP Network Node Manager alarms from the NetScout Solution provide a detailed description and an embedded URL that launches a context-sensitive view into the alarm originator – either nGenius Performance Manager or nGenius Analytics for Flows. The context-sensitive URL creates a fluid pathway for guiding and streamlining further analysis and troubleshooting, thereby reducing mean-time-to-resolution.
- HP Network Node Manager discovery topology map displays nGenius Probes, nGenius InfiniStreams, nGenius Collectors, and nGenius Performance Manager servers, providing full accounting of networked devices and their current status.
- nGenius Performance Manager and nGenius K2 can be launched directly from the HP NNM console and various alarm browsers for simplified workflow.
Specific NetScout Solution alarm types that can be viewed within HP Network Node Manager include:
- Intelligent alarms from nGenius K2, which provide early notification of pending network problems, detailing the behavioral irregularities in application and link utilization, application response time or VoIP quality.
