nGenius® POS Probes Deployment
To collect network data, nGenius OC-3c/STM-1, OC-12c/STM-4 and OC-48c/STM-16c nGenius POS Probes connect to the network via passive taps where they monitor and analyze key information, including network applications, hosts, conversations, utilization, and errors. nGenius Performance Manager uses this information to provide real-time analysis and historical reporting and support for a variety of POS network link technologies as seen below.
