Sony (China) Ltd. Relies on the nGenius Solution to Quickly Identify Application Performance Problems

NetScout has announced that Denver Health, the healthcare safety net for the City and County of Denver, Colorado, is using the nGenius® Performance Management Solution. Initially deployed to resolve existing issues and proactively manage performance of Voice over IP (VoIP) services, Denver Health has expanded its investment in the nGenius Solution with an eye towards enabling streaming video and ensuring rapid access to critical applications such as Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

Denver Health has a large campus environment with 18,000 ports and a fiber backbone. It presently has 20 remote sites. With 3400 wireless access points campus-wide, the network currently averages 600 simultaneous wireless user sessions; both the number of access points and the number of simultaneous user sessions will likely double over the next 12 months.

NetScout Participates in HP Software Universe

NetScout was one of six vendors invited to participate in both the Solution Center and Partner Showcase at HP Software Universe last week in Las Vegas.  The fact that we had booths in both places created a lot of positive buzz and speculation about NetScout’s importance to HP and helped make the week productive on multiple fronts, including:

several productive meetings/planning sessions with HP executives regarding further integration with HP NNM, OpenView and BAC
several meetings with joint customers to share these plans
educating joint HP/NetScout customers about our HP integrations, as well as providing a first look at nGenius Analytics
several in-depth demos with potential new customers

NetScout also had two speaking slots which were well received.  Bruce Sweet’s topic was aimed at Telco operations and was titled “Assuring performance and customer satisfaction for MPLS service networks.” Alan Fink and customer Mark West from Johnson Controls spoke about “Reducing MTTR and optimizing business services performance in virtualized and converged network environments.”

NetScout has scheduled a number of live webinars on popular performance
