Visibility of Application Flows across Multiple Network Segments Enables Instinctual Troubleshooting to Solve Complex Performance Issues
MIAMI, NOVEMBER 7, 2005, SNIFFER USER SUMMIT 2005 Network General, the global leader in enterprise network and application performance analysis, today announced the general availability of Sniffer MultiSegment Intelligence 4.0, a new software product that uniquely enables the data capture, inspection, analysis and rapid resolution of complex performance issues found in multi-tiered, Web-based applications. Targeted at environments that commonly generate https and SQL traffic, such as Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, it enables users to precisely identify which application tier or transaction is suffering from performance problems.
