Network General Announces Japanese-Language Version of Sniffer Portable 4.8

SAN JOSE, CALIF., SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 Network General Corporation, the global leader in enterprise network and application performance analysis, today announced the general availability of a Japanese-language version of Sniffer Portable 4.8, its software-only enterprise network instrumentation offering. The announcement follows the distribution agreement established earlier this year between Network General and Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation (SCS), and Hitachi Information Technology Co., Ltd., leading technology distributors in Japan, and signals the companys intent to further capitalize on its rapidly growing share of the Japanese market.
