Network General To Showcase Streaming-to-Disk and High-Speed Network Analysis Solutions At Cisco Networkers 2004
SAN JOSE, CALIF., December 7, 2004 Network General Corporation, the leading developer and provider of award-winning solutions for network and application performance management, will demonstrate its latest solutions at stand G4-N at Networkers 2004, Cisco System's annual user conference taking place in Cannes, France 13-16 December 2004.
At the World of Next-Generation Solutions exhibit, Network General will showcase its broad portfolio of solutions, including its stream-to-disk, long-term capture solution, InfiniStream network management.
With the industry's largest data store with high performance persistent capture, InfiniStream network management enables network managers to capture large amounts of data in order to isolate, pinpoint, analyze and solve high-impact, intermittent network problems. Continuous long-term capture enables users to have data for an entire transaction or series of transactions in order to drill down to the area of interest and then conduct near real-time analysis using Sniffer Technologies Expert Analysis and decodes. By relying on selective retrieval of pertinent data in the buffer, the capture of data is never interrupted, even while further analysis is being conducted on data that is already stored.
"InfiniStream network management is a clear example of a solution architected to speed diagnosis and resolution of the problems that regularly erupt on high-speed networks," said Stuart Beattie, senior marketing manager for Network General in EMEA. "The continuous long-term data capture enables network managers to drill down to and analyze a specific piece of data or series of transactions giving them the facts needed to solve problems shortly after they occur."
Network General will also be demonstrating Sniffer Distributed s4000 and s6000, nPO Manager and Visualizer, and the Sniffer Portable 10GbE Analyzer.
