NetScout Receives Yet Another Award for Customer Satisfaction and Value
As Network Complexity Continues to Increase, Consultancy Says NetScout is Well-Positioned to Address Customers’ Future Needs

WESTFORD, Mass., November 16, 2006 – NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), a leading provider of network and application performance management solutions, last night was presented Frost & Sullivan’s 2006 Customer Value Enhancement Award in the network performance monitoring & management category.

The award is given annually by Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting company, to a company whose innovation is expected to significantly improve customer interaction and contribute to customer satisfaction. Frost & Sullivan’s analysts take into consideration four factors—customer feedback, customer satisfaction, market share, and product/technology innovation.

“Over the past few years, network performance management and monitoring has gained tremendous importance,” said Frost & Sullivan analyst Sujan Sami. “NetScout has fulfilled the needs of very demanding customers for years, and it is also well-positioned to address their future needs.”

This is the second customer-focused award NetScout has received in as many quarters; in June, NetScout was honored with a NorthFace ScoreBoard award by Omega Management Group for best-in-class ratings from customers surveyed about NetScout. NetScout also received the NorthFace ScoreBoard award in 2005.

“Whether they are enterprises looking to achieve real cost savings with rapid repair of application performance problems, government agencies looking to decrease operational costs and complexity, or wireless carriers looking to improve service assurance, our customers must experience continuous, demonstrable improvement in the quality of our products and services” said Michael Szabados, senior vice president of product operations at NetScout. “We are honored by Frost & Sullivan’s prediction of our future success in this area, and look forward to making it a reality.”

NetScout received the award at Frost & Sullivan’s award ceremony last night in San Antonio, Texas.
