NetScout to Present at MassNetComms Panel on Gaining Competitive Advantage in China
WESTFORD, Mass., February 14, 2006 – NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), a leading provider of network and application performance management solutions, today announced that Chris Johansen, NetScout’s senior manager of marketing operations, will be a featured speaker on the MassNetComms Breakfast Panel: Competitive Advantage in China Market for Network Communications Products. The panel will be held February 16 from 8 am-10 am at Verizon Laboratories, 40 Sylvan Road, Waltham, Mass.
The MassNetComs breakfast panel will explore how Massachusetts network communications companies can best leverage the substantial market development opportunities in China. Specifically, Bai will discuss:
- NetScout’s experience working with channel partners in China;
- Challenges in selling into telecom and large enterprise accounts; and
- Marketing approaches for China.
Additional panelists will examine the market topography, key players and technology infrastructure; outline their experiences with technology partnerships, including business development agents, and the protection of intellectual property in such relationships. The panel will also look at where carriers, enterprises, and technology leaders are investing and disinvesting in China, and what that means for suppliers. Since joining NetScout in December 2000, Bai’s responsibilities have included managing Asia Pacific Marketing, Channel and Services Marketing functions.
