NetScout Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certification Newest ISO 9000 Certification Underscores Company-Wide Commitment to Quality
WESTFORD, Mass. - October 27, 2003 -NetScout® Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTCT), a leading provider of network performance management solutions, today announced that it has received ISO 9001:2000 certification, demonstrating the company's ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality products and services to its customers. The certification encompasses all of the design, manufacturing and customer service processes used by NetScout to produce and support its nGenius® Performance Management System products. To be granted the certification, NetScout met rigorous standards in its business processes and systems used to assure quality products and services for its customers. Cited among the company's achievements was a high level of focus on ensuring customer satisfaction via efforts such as direct and independent customer surveys, as well as frequent customer site visits to solicit user needs and product feedback.
The ISO 9001:2000 certification is the most recent of the ISO 9000 series of standards published by the International Standards Organization. ISO 9000 standards are focused primarily on the quality management processes used by organizations to fulfill customer quality requirements, customer satisfaction and applicable regulatory requirements. It also examines how organizations achieve continual improvement of their performance in pursuit of the above objectives.
