NetScout Systems Announces Strategic Alliance With Akamai; NetScout and Akamai Offer Solutions that Improve E-Business Performance and Enhance the Internet Experience

WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2000--NetScout(R) Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTCT), a global provider of business-critical network management solutions, today announced it has formed an alliance with Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ:AKAM), the foremost provider of global, high performance services for the delivery of Internet content, streaming media, and applications. As part of the alliance, NetScout and Akamai will participate in co-marketing events, complementary-selling and technical consulting. Each will also provide program, sales and technical support associated with their respective offerings.
