Add us to your safe sender list!

You may not be seeing our emails because your email client is filtering them into your junk/spam folder. The process of adding email addresses to your address book (also known as your safe sender list) is called whitelisting and ensure future emails are delivered to your inbox. Below are instructions for adding NetScout to your email application Safe Senders list (or whitelisting NetScout).

Domain Names vs. Individual Email Addresses
In general it is best to whitelist an entire domain name as opposed to an individual email address. For example, whitelisting the domain name “@netscout.com and @netscout-communications.com” will allow any email from NetScout to be received, regardless of the individual sender address.

Outlook 2003 Instructions
Due to the growing problem of unsolicited and unwanted commercial emails, many web mail services and email applications have taken measures to automatically filter bulk emails. Follow the simple steps outlined below to help ensure that our mailings actually reach you. Even if you are currently receiving our mailings, we still advise you to follow these recommendations as a way to prevent future problems.

New Subscribers
You will need to add our From addresses, @netscout.com and @netscout-communications.com, to your Safe Senders list:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail.
  3. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
  4. In the Add address, copy and paste in our From address, @netscout-communications.com
  5. Click OK.
  6. Repeat steps for @netscout.com

Existing Subscribers
If the Junk E-Mail Filter accidentally catches our mailings, you can simply add our From address, @netscout.com and @netscout-communications.com, to the Safe Senders list, and no future e-mail from us will be inspected by the filter. The instructions are outlined above in our New Subscribers info above.

If our mailings are not getting to your inbox, then we suggest checking your spam or junk folder. If you locate our mailing, then you will need to inform your mail application that the email not spam. Most likely the course of action is to select our mailing and click on the Not Spam or Not Junk button, if available.
