TRN-101-VCL: Network Analysis and Troubleshooting (5 half-day sessions)
Monday-Friday 12:00 - 4:00 PM ET Network Analysis and Troubleshooting focuses on the tools and techniques used to effectively analyze network communications using the Sniffer® Analyzer application and network management solution. This five half-day session introductory course provides the training needed by network managers and technicians supporting medium and large enterprise-wide networks. Participants learn how to analyze, troubleshoot, and understand current networking technologies and apply networking best practices. Troubleshooting and analysis skills are reinforced through hands-on exercises and an interactive feature called “Try it now!” using condensed exercises to enhance critical skills and concepts.
The online version of the course covers the same materials as the physical class version of the course. The student attends this virtual class using WebEx from their workplace or home office. With WebEx's many interactive features, the student has a front-row center seat in this online classroom with full access and interaction with our knowledgeable instructors.

TRN-120-VCL: nGenius Service Delivery Manager Essentials (4 half-day sessions)

nGenius Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is for operations personnel and administrators. Students learn how to apply configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques to effectively implement and configure SDM and its relationship to nGenius Performance Manager (PM) Global Settings and Alarm configuration. For successful completion of this course the prospective student should be familiar with PM Global Settings and all PM alarm types. This four half-day session in-depth course provides the training needed by administrators and operations personnel supporting medium and large enterprise-wide networks.
Participants learn how to configure the SDM environment, monitor and troubleshoot key application services, and performance issues. They also learn how to apply best practices for PM threshold settings and a troubleshooting workflow to identify and solve network and application issues. Troubleshooting and analysis skills are reinforced through hands-on exercises and an interactive feature called “Try it now!” using condensed exercises to enhance critical skills and concepts. Scenarios are also employed for some of these exercises to simulate real-world problem solving workflows.

TRN-191-VCL: nGenius Performance Manager End User (4 half-day sessions)

nGenius Performance Management for Users is a four-day, four hour session each day, instructor-led training course using nGenius Performance Manager. This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to effectively monitor, analyze, and report on application usage and performance in large enterprise-wide networks. The training will prepare students to apply monitoring and troubleshooting techniques through hands-on exercises and an interactive feature called “Try it now!” using condensed exercises to enhance critical skills and concepts.
