Learning Sessions
- Guided Labs: 2-Hour Sessions with specific Product emphasis: InfiniStream & Intelligence Products, or nGenius Performance Manager & K-2. Guided labs include 20 minute product overview, Lab Guides, and walkaround Q&A with nGenius experts from Sniffer University, Engineering, SE Field Engineering. Attendees must pre-register for these events. (20 sessions, 14 seats in each session).
- Drop-In Labs: For our more experienced users, attendees may visit our Drop-In Labs to "test pilot" shipping products: nGenius Performance Manager, InfiniStream, K-2, Sniffer Analysis. A Sniffer University instructor will be on hand to briefly answer your questions. No pre-registration is required.
- Drop-In Lunch & Learn: Our loyal users of nGenius and Sniffer products always have more to learn. In this unstructured lunch break format, grab a bite & spend some time with our instructors (and your peers) to have your questions answered and share a few stories. Parallels roundtable discussions hosted by Sniffer University during our corporate headquarters classes.
- Tutorial Sessions: Spend an hour to 90 minutes with our seasoned Sniffer University instructors as they guide you through highlights of our existing Sniffer University courses on: What's New in Our Latest PM Release, Introduction to IPv6, Sniffer Intelligence Tools, Packet University Fundamentals, Insights into InfiniStream, K2 Early Warning Analysis, Problem Detection & Resolution with nGenius. Lecture format. 28 Sessions offered.
- Learning Needs Assessments: When you check in for the conference, register for a consultation with our Curriculum team that is customized for your own company's environment. We'll walk you through our classes, services, approaches, and assess your team's skill levels and needs to find just the right fit.
- Certification Preparation & Exams: Our revamped Sniffer University Certification program is all about confirming and demonstrating your knowledge on NetScout products over time. We offer 3 levels of certification: Professional, Expert & Master. Receive guidance on how to prepare for our testing services as part of your work while attending class. Schedule a certification consultation at the conference registration desk to identify a Learning Plan for certification. Sample tests are also available at the conference.
- Intro to Sniffer University Discussion: While at our pre-conference events, stop by the training desk to discuss Training options available at Sniffer University. Our staff will be on hand to introduce you to our curriculum, and options for public, onsite & e-learning training.
Engage '08 Training Certification
Validate your attendance at Engage ’08 with your management by participating
in our two-tier Learning Track. To receive your conference-special certification,
we recommend the following Learning Paths:
- Foundation: Attend One 2-Hour Guided Lab (Sniffer or nGenius product emphasis), attend Sniffer University Tutorials (select 1 of 7 offered), receive Learning 360 CD Toolkit (Conference bonus). This equals 3 – 4 hours of formal training
- Advanced: Attend Two 2-Hour Guided Labs (Sniffer & nGenius product emphasis), attend Sniffer University Tutorials (select 3, or more, of 7 offered), receive Learning 360 CD Toolkit (Conference bonus). This equals 8 – 10 hours of formal training
